GerrymanderMe is a serious game made by Alexandra Hügli and Robin Welmers in the serious game design course at HSLU in the span of two days. The Prototype was built on paper with the vision being a browser-game.

Game Overview:

GerrymanderMe is a competitive, turn-based strategy game where players take on the role of politicians attempting to reshape electoral districts to secure power. With a focus on education and strategic thinking, GerrymanderMe gives players a hands-on experience with gerrymandering—a real-world political tactic used to manipulate voting districts and sway elections. Set on a hexagonal grid, the game challenges players to outmaneuver their opponents by strategically drawing district boundaries and leveraging swing counties for control. The game blends tactical depth with political awareness, offering both intellectual satisfaction and competitive thrill.

To play the game, simply download the Files below (Template and Rules), read the key game rules and print out the hexagonal grid from our template.

sorry how does this requires political roleplaying, it seems purely mechanical?
